Prof. Dr. Christian von Scheve and Prof. Dr. Malek Bajbouj, professors at "Languages of Emotion", are the heads of a research project within the Dynage Focus Area at Freien Universität Berlin. The project "The Emotion Paradox Depression and Emotional Well-Being Across the Lifespan" will investigate how emotion processing (EP) and regulation (ER) are influenced by interactions between genetic and social factors and how they affect the risk of depression over the life span.

The project is a cooperation with Prof. Dr. Jürgen Schupp (German Institute for Economic Research).
